6D5N CENTRAL CROSS MOUNTAIN TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1 (NO MEAL) : ARRIVAL / TAOYUAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT / TAOYUAN

Meet and greeting by local guide, transfer to Taoyuan for check-in (+/- 30 minutes by bus) 

Overnight : Taoyuan Hotel (4*)

DAY 2 (B/L/D) : TAOYUAN / FORMOSAN ABORIGINAL THEME PARK (CABLE CAR) / SUN MOON LAKE (FERRY BOAT)

Ride to Sun Moon Lake (+/- 3 hours by bus), visit Formosa Aboriginal Theme Park (including Cable car) – experience riding the cable car, watching the aboriginal dance performance, and strolling at Sakura Park while you are playing at the theme park. Continue to Wen Wu Temple – Unique Temple that venerates both patron gods of Civil and Martial along with Confucius at the same complex temple, Ita Tsao Village – A small village where you can find traditional souvenirs, local foods and the King of Mao. And enjoy the lake view with a ferry boat.

DAY 3 (B/L/D) : CINGJING FARM / MT. HEHUAN / MT. LI

Ride to Cingjing Farm (+/- 2.5 hours by bus) – as known as the little Swiss hills, where you can enjoy the panoramic mountainous view with green grass field and enjoy the sheep show. Continue to Mt. Hehuan - the very first national forest recreational area in Taiwan, established as early as 1963; with has extraordinary scenery and an alpine ecosystem. Mt. Li is located in Heping, Taichung City, and was called Shalamao in the past. It has an altitude of 2,000 meters and is famous for its flowers, vegetables and production of pears, apples and peaches. Surrounded by Fushou Mountain, Wuling Park, and Guguan, Mt Li has beautiful mountainous scenery
*Autumn season (November) : enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage color, Alpine fruits
*Winter season (December-January) : enjoy flower plum season, mountain view

Overnight : Mt. Li Hotel (4*)

DAY 4 (B/L/D) : FUSHOUSHAN FARM / TAROKO GORGE / HUALIEN  

Fushoushan Farm - The farm is 6 kilometers away from Mt. Li, with 900 hectares of the total area at 1,800~2,500 meters altitude. Besides fruits, Fushoushan also grows tea and flowers. We can visit: Yinyang Pond, Pine House, Sakura Garden. Continue to Taroko National Park: Taroko Gorge Gate, Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, etc. Back to Hualien for overnight.
*September: Cosmos flower season
*October-November: Apple season including apple picking activities (additional entrance fee at your own expense)

Overnight : Hualien Hotel (4*)

DAY 5 (B/L/D) : HUALIEN / TAIPEI CITY TOUR

Return to Taipei (+/- 3.5 hours by bus), visit Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall – A memorial hall erected in memory of former President of The Republic of China, Presidential Palace (pass by), Handicraft Center, Vigor Kobo Pineapple cake, Taipei 101 Mall – The Tallest building in Taiwan, Xi Men Ding Shopping Area – The Harajuku of Taiwan, where the shopping center and night market can be found in one place, and the Ningxia Night Market – the traditional night market that has savories street foods like Oyster omelet, Beef noodle, Stinky tofu, etc

Overnight : Taipei Hotel (4*)

DAY 6 (B) : DEPARTURE

Free time, transfer to the airport
